how do you stay up-to-date with graphic and web design? When you’re stuck working on a design problem, how do you find answers or help with what you’re working on?

Unfortunately I don’t really stay up-to-date with graphic and web design. If I have some time I’m surfing on internet and try to find something interesting or new. If I have no time to read all I just bookmark them and read them later. If I find some cool websites, pictures or arts I make a screenshot and save them to a special “ideas” folder. When I have technical problem I search for tutorials or forums where people have the same problem.  Ch 3 was very interesting and made it clear to me I have to use a lot more thing to stay up-to-date.

100 Must Read Design Blogs article

I found an interesting article and video in “100 Must Read Design Blogs”. It was about light and shading in Photoshop. I have never heard using math for shading before. I think there is a lot more to learn in Photoshop.
